Bellvitge changes with music. Lights above the square, the smell of food in the air, a stage that hums before the first note is struck. Last year we played at 1:00 a.m.—a beautiful moment, but too late for many friends who wanted to be there. This year we asked for an earlier hour; the festival listened, and the music begins at 22:30.

We’re bringing a set of alternative and progressive rock—long intros, turns you don’t expect, and subtle Middle Eastern phrygian colors woven so naturally you might not notice them, but you’ll feel them. On a big stage, with powerful, faithful live sound engineered by Edu (Chile), who brings our studio textures into the open air. Many of these songs were produced with the brilliant Ra Tache (ex-drummer of Ankor); our aim is to honor that production while letting the night shape the performance.

Gray Dream is an international band based in Barcelona—Morrie (Iran), Arturo (Cuba), Jorge (Spain), and Eric (Catalunya)—singing in English, carrying the spirit of rock into the heart of the neighborhood. Come early, wander the food stands, feel the city breathe, and meet us by the stage when the lights go up.

Bellvitge cambia con la música. Luces sobre la plaza, olor a comida en el aire, un escenario que vibra antes del primer acorde. El año pasado tocamos a la 1:00 de la madrugada—un momento bonito, pero demasiado tarde para much@s que querían venir. Este año pedimos un horario más temprano; el festival escuchó, y la música empieza a las 22:30.

Traemos un directo de rock alternativo y progresivo—intros largas, giros inesperados y toques frigios de Oriente Medio integrados con suavidad: quizá no los notes, pero los sentirás. En un gran escenario, con un sonido potente y fiel, de la mano de Edu (Chile), nuestro ingeniero, que lleva las texturas del estudio al aire libre. Muchas de estas canciones se produjeron junto a Ra Tache (ex batería de Ankor); nuestra intención es honrar esa producción y dejar que la noche moldee la interpretación.

Gray Dream es una banda internacional afincada en Barcelona—Morrie (Irán), Arturo (Cuba), Jorge (España) y Eric (Catalunya)—cantando en inglés y llevando el espíritu del rock al corazón del barrio. Ven pronto, pasea entre los puestos, siente respirar la ciudad y encuéntranos frente al escenario cuando enciendan las luces.
